Geolife Foundation

At Geolife, we are a firm believer in contributing to society in any small or big way. Geolife Foundation is a step towards this belief. Under this we aim at touching and bringing positive change in the lives of people who directly or indirectly helped us achieve the milestones in such a short span.

Blood Donation – They say “You don’t have to be a doctor to save lives”. In the loving memory of Late Shree Om Prakash Ji Lahoti, we arrange blood donation camps every year across India.

Bicycle Donation Geolife believes in serving humanity first! Geolife Foundation noticed that rural children in India had to walk several miles to attend their schools. Geolife Foundation was willing to help these students. Hence since 2016, we started collecting cycles and started distributing them free to rural children of India. 2018 is the 3rd consequent year of our Geolife Foundation Cycle Distribution.

Tree Plantation – At Geolife, we have given a new meaning to the Friendship day. We celebrate it as Tree Plantation Day. Even when we are gone, our friends – the tress would continue to fuel the life of others.

Organ Donation – Organ Donation is giving an organ or part of an organ to be transplanted into another person. The main reasons for organ shortage in India are mainly ignorance and lack of knowledge about the benefits of organ donation. Geolife Foundation has taken an initiative of creating awareness about Organ Donation and encourage others to sign up to save lives.

Book Donation – When you give someone a book you don’t give him just paper and ink, you give him the possibility of a whole new world. Going by this adage, we make it a point to collect the books from all possible corners that have been read and are no longer in use. We then set on to distribute these books to those who can still read it and gain some important insights about this beautiful world of ours.

Cloth Collection Drives – This is one of the many programs wherein we collect wearable clothes for various ages and distribute it to under privileged children and needy people.

These are some of the various activities conducted under the aegis of the Geolife Foundation. We have now collaborated with 'Robinage' for last 5 years, an award winning weekly newspaper to help develop reading habits right from the very start in children aged 4 to 14 years. The content shared is interactive, engaging and aims at developing the thinking ability in children. It is the fourth year in running and the response is tremendous. Children wait for the new edition and are absorbed in the content soon after.

Arranging career counselling sessions for aspiring students and also aiding them with placements is another area where the Geolife foundation is making its presence felt. With all the good intentions, we just aim that the journey we have started upon goes on like this and we are able to touch as many lives as possible in a positive and fruitful way.
